Glenning Valley Wedding Photography | Jaque & Ronnie | Central Coast NSW
There's something about a garden party wedding that just works. No rigid formality, no cavernous reception hall — just good people, a beautiful property, and a day that unfolds at its own pace. That's exactly what Jaque and Ronnie pulled off at their Glenning Valley wedding.
Glenning Valley sits in the hills just behind The Entrance on the Central Coast — it's quiet, green, and genuinely lovely. The private property they chose for the day had everything you'd want: space for the ceremony, a great reception area, and gardens that gave us plenty to work with for the bridal party shoot.
Getting Ready
I started the morning off-site with Jaque and her bridesmaids. The light was great, the mood was relaxed, and there was plenty of that easy energy that makes getting ready photos so good — a mix of excitement, laughter, and the odd quiet moment before everything kicks off.
The details were lovely too. The dress, the florals, the little things couples put together without realising how well they'll photograph.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was held in the gardens of the property — open air, surrounded by greenery, with the kind of natural setting that doesn't need much dressing up. Ronnie's face when Jaque came down the aisle is the sort of moment I'm always watching for. You can't manufacture that.
The garden party theme carried through everything — relaxed, warm, and genuinely personal to the two of them.
The Bridal Party Shoot
After the ceremony we made the most of the property's gardens for the bridal party shoot. Plenty of space, great light, and a couple who were easy to photograph — which always helps. We moved around the grounds, found the spots that worked best on the day, and kept it fun rather than fussy.
The Reception
The reception had the same easy feel as the rest of the day — good speeches, a lot of laughing, and the kind of candid moments that fill up a gallery. A garden party wedding tends to bring out a certain looseness in guests, and that always shows up in the photos.
Congratulations Jaque and Ronnie — it was a genuine pleasure to be part of your day.
A Note on Glenning Valley & Central Coast Wedding Photography
Glenning Valley is one of those Central Coast spots that doesn't get talked about enough as a wedding location. The hinterland areas behind The Entrance, Wyong, and up through the valley offer beautiful natural settings — private properties, acreage venues, and outdoor spaces that photograph brilliantly.
If you're planning a wedding on the Central Coast — whether at a dedicated venue or a private property — I'd love to hear about it.
